Horsehead and Flame Nebula
This is the Horsehead and Flame Nebula. It is easily recognizable by the stunning chess piece in the center illuminated by the billows of hydrogen alpha gas. This image also contains the Flame Nebula on the left, and a small reflection nebula below the horsehead. The brightest star above the flame is known as Alnitak.
